  • Where are you located?
    We are located in Kingston, Portland, Montego Bay and Savanna-la-mar.
  • Do I have to create an account?
    Yes, you are required to create an account for ease of reference; to receive your U.S. mailing address, to ship packages and receive updates.
  • Can I share my account with a friend/family member?
    We advise everyone to create their own account and not to share their personal mailbox number.
  • My package was delivered but I do not see it in my LetZshipit account
    Packages are updated in batches. Hence, the delay and your account will be updated accordingly. If your package is not showing in your account within 24 hours of delivery, please contact us.
  • How long does it take for my package to arrive in Jamaica?
    After your package is delivered to your Florida address, it is sent to Jamaica on the next shipment out.
  • Why does my package appear to be opened when I received it?
    All packages coming through Jamaica Customs are liable to be opened and inspected to verify that the invoices match the contents of the package.
  • How do I avoid paying custom duties?
    All packages valued over US$100 are subject to customs duty charges. Therefore, to avoid this charge, keep your order total under US$100.
  • Will customs duty apply on free items/items purchased with gift cards/discounted items?
    Yes, Customs duty is applied based on the market value of every item being imported.
  • Why am I required to provide invoices for my packages?
    LetZshipit is required to declare to Jamaica Customs the contents and value of each package entering the country using the invoices. As such, you are required to submit all invoices within 24-72 hours after getting your notification that your package/s has been received in Miami. If the invoices are not provided that might result in delays and customs might assess a different value to your package. This may also include your packages being detained. Create Pre-Alert
  • What if I do not have an invoice?
    Customs reserves the right to detain any package being brought into the country without an invoice.
  • How long after a package reaches the warehouse it is updated?
    Packages that reach the warehouse are usually updated within 24-72 hours depending on the volume being processed.
  • What happens if the merchant joins my shipments?
    If your package is joined with other order(s) that were ordered separately you are required to provide invoices for all orders in the package. All invoices will be submitted to customs and the total cost for all the items in the package will be used.
  • What happens if my Express package arrives after 1 PM?
    If your package is processed after 1PM then it will not be shipped until the next business day.
  • What happens if I send my express package to the standard address by mistake?
    If your package goes to the standard address instead of the express address then the express service will not be applicable, and the package cannot be transferred to the express address.
  • What happens if I send my package to the express address by accident?
    If your package goes to the express address, it cannot be transferred to the standard address, and it will be billed as an express package.
